Game Summary

The story is about a man who survived in the war between the Unity of Man and their forces which is called Empires. In his childhood, he highly admired his dad’s determination and belief that there are still other inhabitants in the space apart from their race. But sadly, his dad never returned from his expedition in space so the man was very much determined in finding his dad. He did his best to excel in school both in academics and sports. His hardships soon bear fruit, he was included as one of the members of the military. After surviving the war, he was placed in a higher position and was promoted to be a captain of a spaceship. When he arrives in the spaceship, he thought that all is well until…

Story

Starlight is a sci-fi visual novel so it’s a bit hard to understand some of the mechanical terms mentioned although some of them were made up words by the writer. There are three endings in this Visual Novel but I always got the no.1 and the no.2 ending. One thing that I would point out is that there are some misspelled words, repetition of words and some grammatical errors at the beginning. They are lesser in number so the idea was still able to comprehend. There are many choices in the story so its hard to get the third ending. But all in all, the story was great. The story flow was unpredictable and includes some sexual humor.

Rating: 8/10

Graphics

The graphics was not bad at all. The background images are very well suited for the setting of the story which is in space. The background images of the interior of the spaceship is futuristic style and even the status monitor which is in 3-d. The character images are well drawn in a cartoon-like style. In this VN, I only see the characters looking in each other and not faced in front. In their body moves, you can tell what the personality of the character is. The facial expressions’ of the characters’ are clearly distinguished.

Rating: 8.5/10

Music/Sounds

There are a lot of music backgrounds used in this VN. I think there are 12 based on what I remember from the credits(not quite sure though). It’s a good thing that the creator of this VN didn’t stick  that too much to a few sounds. There was a background music that was used twice but it’s suited for the event in the VN (which sounds like a bit dramatic). The sound effects were fewer  due to the situations in the VN.

Rating: 8/10

System/Extras

The engine used in making this VN possible is Ren’Py which you can download on its official site. The introductory part of Starlight is quite good because of its futuristic sounds.  After the introductory part is the main menu screen which has the common functions like Start Game(starts a new game), Continue Game(loads a saved file), Epilogue(which is the ending), Preferences(where you can adjust the size of the screen, volume of music and sounds, speed of the text and transitions).

Rating: 3/5

What I can say is…

I liked the story of Starlight but one of the most confusing things in this VN are the mechanical terms used. While reading, I don’t put much attention to the mechanical terms but the thought of the sentences. One thing that is hard to achieve in this VN is the 3rd ending(which I assume is the bad ending ’cause I have gotten the 2 good endings). There are many choices in this VN so I was having trouble getting the third ending. I already searched on the web for a walkthrough but I didn’t find any.

But despite of this, I still enjoy reading this VN because of the different personalities of the characters and based on the player’s choices determines the outcome of the story. And when the credits roll, I found out that there is only one man behind this futuristic Visual Novel. Not only he is the writer but he’s also the artist, sounds editor, proofreader and yeah, he did it all by himself.

What I’m looking forward…

The second episode of Starlight because this is the first episode. I also want to get the third ending of this VN so I can unlock the epilogue.

For somebody out there who knows how to get the third ending, pretty please comment or email me on the walkthrough. ^_^

Narcissu Side 2nd

Narcissu Side 2nd

Game Information

Writer: Tomo Kataoka

Production: Stage Nana

English Localization: Randy “Agilis” Au

Peter “Haeleth” Jolly

Size: 200Mb (includes Narcissu 1 and 2 with epilogue)

Release Date: August 2010 (English Translation)

Download Link Here: www.neechin.net

Game Summary

The highly anticipated prequel of Narcissu (which I reviewed here more than a month ago). In this prequel, the story is centered on Himeko, a self-proclaimed fake Catholic who has passion for cars. She even spent her first salary on an old model car called Eunos which is red in color and has reclinable convertible. Several months had passed, Himeko found herself confined in the hospital where she works as a helper in the 7th floor which is the hospice ward. She knows to herself that she will soon be transferred to 7th floor which is for patients waiting for the inevitable. In the hospital lobby, she met Setsumi(from Narcissu 1) a 15 year old girl who happens to be visiting the doctor everyday for medical examination. Soon, the two become friends and Setsumi always visits Himeko in the 7th floor.

Story

The story is mainly focused on Himeko’s life but has the side story of Setsumi. There are chapters that Himeko is the point of view which comprises of her past and her present. Some of the chapters in the story has Setsumi as the point of view character and she observes Himeko’s actions. Like Narcissu 1, the characters’ moods and wishes are surfaced in the story. There is an aspect here that is discussed but not in Narcissu 1, religion. Himeko is a Catholic but has decided to stop going to church on Sundays to go to different places by using her Eunos car.

Rating: 9.5/10

Graphics

The minimalistic style of Narcissu 1 is preserved here in Narcissu 2 Side 2nd. It is presented in a cinematic way which is like you’re watching a movie. The background images are still beautifully realistic. Compared to Narcissu 1 where Setsumi has only the character design, in Narcissu 2 most of the characters have character designs and CG except Yuka(Himeko’s friend) and Setsumi’s mother. There is one CG of Yuka but her face is not seen. There is also a video animation in one of the starting chapters.

Rating: 9/10

Music/Sound Effects

The writer of Narcissu, Tomo Kataoka has collaborated again with some composers and singers to bring life Narcissu 2. The background music tracks are well matched to the events of the story and is pleasant for the ear. There are 14 music tracks used in Narcissu 2 which comprises of 12 instrumentals and 2 full songs. The sound effects are well chosen and sounds realistic.

Rating: 9/10

System/Extras

The system used in making this Visual Novel is PonScripter engine. In the main menu, there is a start and load function, notes which contains the writer and translator’s notes and extras which contains the music tracks of both Narcissu 1 and Narcissu 2. The epilogue & full credits section will be unlocked once you both finished reading Narcissu 1 and Narcissu Side 2nd.

Rating: 4/5

What I can say is…

I honestly liked the story of Narcissu 2 than its predecessor which is Narcissu 1. In this prequel, there is a moral lesson that I have learned. It is to smile no matter what event happens and live life to the fullest even you have known that time is inevitable. I also learned that everyone must still have faith in God no matter what happens. In terms of graphics, there are a lot of improvements here. There is the video animation and character designs of some of the characters. I have noticed that Himeko and the protagonist in Narcissu 1 both knew how to drive. The Narcissu 1 version here has also more improved graphics. From the background images, the time of the day is clearly indicated because of the color hues.

What I’m looking forward to…

For the release of the English version of Narcissu 3: Die Dritte Welt PC version which is a sequel of Narcissu 1. I will download it as soon as possible then I will review it here :)

Trapped

Trapped title screen

Game Information

Writer: GlassHeart

Size: 81.4Mb

Release Date: May 03, 2012

Rating: All Ages

Engine: Ren’Py

Download Link: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15088

Game Summary

A psychological kinetic novel about a girl/boy who has been put in a prison cell for having special powers. On his/her way to the prison cell, she was blindfolded  and only the man behind him guides his/her to the said location. When they were able to reach the prison, his/her blindfold was taken away. He/She looked at the prison, it was way too dark but she felt at thing that was the bed. Then the days past, he/she thought he/she was all alone in the prison cell when suddenly he/she saw a shadow. He/She tried talking to the man and he/she was always being contradicted. And throughout the days, they started having conversations then talked about things like how they ended up there and the reasons why people like them are being captured.

Story

Trapped is a short kinetic novel about a certain someone who has been waiting for a certain someone to save his/her and be able to escape in the prison. The story is unpredictable and a bit mysterious for me. For what reason the protagonist is there and why is he/she with a mysterious man.

Rating:  8/10

Graphics

The graphics in this visual novel is mostly composed of background images. The background images are mostly dark, black, white and brown. The flashbacks in the story are in blurry black effect. There are no sprites and character artwork for the reason that the settings of this psychological visual novel was more important than the rest. There is a shadow representation of some of the characters’ image.

Rating: 8/10

Music/Sound Effects

The background music and the sound effects are well appropriate and well perfect on this kind of psychological kinetic novel. Both the background music and the sound effects really give that thrilling and mysterious feeling that adds effectiveness of its attack to the readers. The sound effects are realistic and really surprised me! :)

Rating: 8.5/10

System/Extras

The engine used in making this Kinetic Visual Novel is Ren’Py, a freeware software that uses the Python programming language. In the main menu, there is the start and quit function only. It’s a bit disappointing since I have to play the saved game progress by clicking the start{which starts a new game] then I have to right click just to load the game. The preferences was also absent in the main menu so I feel unease in the GUI of this VN.

Rating: 3/5

What I can say is…

I really did enjoy playing this psychological kinetic novel because it makes me thrill and the feeling is just too mysterious. A compelling story with mysterious characters that intrigues me what secret are they keeping. The background music and the sound effects are a perfect fit in the story. The only downside was the main menu lacking the load and preference function.

The Way I live

The Way I live

Game Information

Writer: uselessp

Size: 41.6Mb

Release Date: July 01, 2012

Rating: All Ages

Engine: Ren’Py

Download Link: http://nvup.wordpress.com/2012/06/30/first-release/

Game Summary

The story is based on the writer’s personal experience in school and at home. A short Visual Novel about the writer’s life that seemed to be controlled by his family and friends.

Story

The story is a glance of what the writer’s daily life in school and at home. The writer seems to be in middle school preferring to enter high school. The writer wants to be as carefree and be like his friend named Ir. This is a non-fiction so there’s no need to complain about the story. One thing that I would point out are the grammatical errors of this Visual Novel especially in the usage of verbs in the singular subject.

Rating: 7/10

Graphics

The only graphics in this Visual Novel is the background images and most of the background images were taken from a website. But so far, the background images were well drawn and much detailed even though the settings is not appropriate. The characters are what I assume are from Indonesia but the settings of the background images were in Japan. It would be very much appreciated if there are character designs even if the main character(writer) is excluded. I would point out the first line of this VN has the background of the title screen.

Rating: 7/10

Music/Sound Effects

The background music was well match but the only problem is, it is repetitively used in this Visual Novel. There are no sound effects for the reason that it is not needed.

Rating: 7/10

System/Extras

The engine used in making this VN is Ren’Py which is a freeware visual novel engine available for download. In the main menu, there is the start and load function and the settings.

Ratings: 3/5

What I can say is…

The Way I live is a Visual Novel that needs a lot of improvement in terms of grammar,  absence of character designs, and music repetitiveness. But despite of all these, I still appreciate this because I was similar in characteristics with the writer. Like the writer, my world is also being controlled by my family and friends. And I’m a bit of anti-social sometimes.

Memo

Memo

Game Information

Writer: serithnal, doomfest

Artist: doomfest

Size: 100Mb

Release Date: Feb 8,2010

Rating: 16+

Engine: Ren’Py

Download Link: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6601

Game Summary

Memo is visual novel about a junior high boy named Hasegawa Seji who has just transferred into a new city. He’s family is always moving into a new place due to his father’s job. Now he’s living alone, a certain instance has happened to him while riding on a train on his way to a place who he will call home. Suddenly,  a girl with long dark blond hair and green eyes has called out his name. He was surprised that a girl would call him out by his first name when he doesn’t remember that he had someone he known in this city. He had this feeling that he has gone to this city before but there were several changes on the city’s appearance. The following day, he starts to go to his new school and he met two girls-one is Kazumi, a senior high student who is a part of the student council and Liz, a junior high student, stubborn and violent type (tsundere) of girl who happens to be the person who called out to him in the train.

Story

The story is a typical high school life drama and has 6 endings that can be achieved.  These 6 endings can be achieved according to the choices you had made. The story is unpredictable but the layout of the story was always used in some renai games. It has the same layout as the story of deIz, which I reviewed here also.

Rating: 8/10

Graphics

The graphics is one of the highlights of this Visual Novel. The artist really did a great job in illustrating the backgrounds, scenarios, character designs and the title screen background. All the characters were well drawn and their facial expression have variations. The CGs are few but their illustrations is excellent and most of them stands out.

Rating: 9/10

Music/Sound Effects

The background music tracks are well appropriate and used in according to the mood of the scenario. But some of the music tracks were used repetitively according to the character’s sudden changes of moods or the weird guy shows up. The background music was mostly composed of piano symphonies, orchestra like tracks and some upbeat tracks. One of the music tracks used is from a music box which seems to be a lullaby.  The sound effects were sometimes a bit louder than the background music but it matches to the actions and events in the story.

Rating: 8/10

System/Extras

The engine used in making this Visual Novel is Ren’Py which is a freeware visual novel engine. The main menu is composed of the start and load function. There is also the settings menu where you can adjust the screen size, the text settings, transitions, music volume and sound volume. A gallery will be unlocked when you finish playing for once. There are few CGs inside the gallery that will be unlocked once you follow a certain path.

Rating: 4/5

What I can say is…

I really enjoy playing Memo most especially when the scene involves the weird guy character named Kousuke. I was laughing during the scene where Liz got really angry with Kousuke and Seji. Liz is a stereotypical tsundere character and Kazumi is the exact opposite of Liz’s character. I really want a route for Kazumi but sadly there wasn’t. I was not that satisfied with the good ending because I want to see what happens in the next days. If you want a Visual Novel that is similar to animes with tsundere character and weird guys, you should try Memo.

In This Dream of Ours

title screen

Game Information

Writer: fleet

Productions: Ouroboros Connect

Size: 161Mb

Release Date:

Rating: 13+

Engine: Ren’Py

Download Link:

Game Summary

In This Dream of Ours is a story set on the 1600′s and some of the scenes are based on real events happened in Japan in that time. It was in 1600, there was a battle in Japan called the Battle of Sekigahara, a battle between the East side and the West side of the country. A young farmer was involved in this battle, he’s name is Kouji, a commoner who was forced to train and fight in Emperor Hayashi’s side. He was lying on the ground and almost dead when someone found him after the battle. He was brought to a clinic in Saitoumora in order to heal his wounds and recover. In the clinic, he met the siblings, Yasahiro and Hitomi. Together, they run a small clinic in the mountains and they aid the wounded warriors in the battle.

Story

The story is beautiful and is a bit unpredictable. Some scenes were based on some historical events happened in Japan like the battle where Kouji was a part with. There were series of flashbacks in the story involving the battle experience of Kouji. The characters were very human in nature and they have different characteristics. Each characters have their own goal in life. This is a kinetic novel, a Visual Novel with no choices and has a continuous storyline.

Rating: 9/10

Graphics

The graphics is composed of the background images and the sprites of the characters. The background images are real photos well chosen by the creator and accustomed them to oil pastel effect. The sprites are made through the use of Face generator. The characters’ sprites displayed minimal changes in their facial expressions. There is no character design for the reason that, the creator does want to emphasize the background image.

Rating: 8/10

Music/Sound Effects

Most of the background music are well chosen and blended well with the events of the story. The mellow type of music tracks really fit well with the events of the story. However, some music tracks were a bit dark and edgier for me. The sound effects were okay and were played in the right timing.

Rating: 7/10

System/Extras

The engine used in making this Kinetic Visual Novel possible is Ren’Py engine available for download at www.renpy.org . The main menu has a background image with the title of the VN over it. The menu buttons are the sprites of the characters. There is the start/load function represented by the main character, Kouji. The left half of his face is the start function and right side is the load function. The options menu is Hitomi, the help menu is Yasahiro and the quit menu is Tadashi. There is a bonus menu that will be unlocked once you have finished reading this Visual Novel. Inside the bonus menu, there is thoughts about the story, four alternate endings of this VN (it was the creator’s endings he made but decided to turn this into a Kinetic Novel), and another story set in a modern time about a love story of two people who seems connected in the past. Too bad there is no music jukebox to listen to the background music tracks.

Rating: 4/5

What I can say is…

In This Dream of Ours is a must read Visual Novel because of its different layout in Visual Novels which is historical with romance. This Visual Novel is inspired by etsujin’s poem with the lines, “Covered with the flowers. Instantly, I’d like to die. In this dream of ours”. I really liked the story, the alternate endings and the bonus story. If you want something heartwarming and at the same time tragic type of story, In This Dream of Ours is for you. This Visual Novel also implies the readers that beneath the trials in life, there’s always hope for a good ending.

Anton’s Vacation Episode 2: Name Christmas Carol

full screen view

Game Information

Writer: Komi Tsuku

Productions: IDHAS Studios

Size: 60.6Mb

Release Date: December 26,2011

Rating: 16+

Genre: Comedy, Romance

Engine: Ren’Py

Download Link: http://www.idhasstudios.com/wordpress/?page_id=26

Game Synopsis

It’s Christmas season and everyone else is excited about the Christmas party except for a workaholic named Name. She prefers gluing her eyes to work than having fun with her friends: Yoi, Syl, Sora, Komi, Ai, Anton and everyone else in the Katajion Dictatorship. Even Anton has persuaded her to attend the Christmas Party, still Name keeps on resisting and prefers to finish all the works. Because of Name’s attitude, she got visited by spirits: including an acquaintance, the spirit of Christmas Past, spirit of Christmas Present and spirit of Christmas Future.

Story

Another excellent work of the sequel of Anton’s Vacation Episode 1: The Orange Duck Tape Experience. The story focuses on one of Anton’s colleagues/friend-Name. The story was simply unpredictable and the scenes reveal more about the events of Name’s life. Anton’s Vacation series never failed to entertain  the readers with its comedic lines and adorable characters.

Rating: 9/10

Graphics

The graphics never changed like the ones in the prequel and beta version,  it’s still awesome. The background images have also improved more but there are less CG events here compared to Anton’s Vacation Episode 1. Please refer to my review of Anton’s Vacation Episode Zero here.

Rating: 8.5/10

Music/Sound Effects

At the start, you can hear the background music that is a full song in Japanese language (I don’t know the title of the song, sorry). The background music tracks are matched with the event or the characters’ attitude.

Rating: 7/10

System/Extras

Ren’Py is  a freeware engine used in making this game. In the main menu, there is the start game, load game, preferences and the help which opens an offline web document with instructions on how to play this Visual Novel. Sadly, there is no CG Gallery, maybe its because the CGs were quite few.

Rating: 3/5

What I’m wishing is…

The creator would make a sequel of Anton’s Vacation because I’m excited to know what’s going to happen in Anton’s Vacation (That makes me redundant again XD). I am also looking forward to what the 3 ladies and Anton will do to save the life of millions of people. I also looking forward to what’s gonna happen to Anton if he chose any of the 3 ladies to be her girlfriend or the other way which is having all 3 of them cried and the punishment of Sora to Anton if he does it.

deIz

Game Information

Creator: Mike Inel

Editing: Krishna Orejo

Size: 94.2Mb

Release Date: August 2011

Rating: 18+ (For mature audiences only)

Download Link: http://gamejolt.com/freeware/games/other/deiz/5995/

Game Synopsis

Another great Visual Novel/dating sim game from a fellow (countrymen). The story is about Ceil, a guy who has this biggest crush on a director who directs his favorite indie films like “Left with Happiness” and “Wherever You Are”. This director happens to be going in the same school as he is but has been afraid to talk to her or befriend her. Ceil has two friends in school, one is Chamoisee, a guy who keeps on accompanying him every time he goes home after school and Cerise, who is the only girl in the trio and has a boyish attitude. There are 12 endings in the story and it depends on the choices.

Story

This Visual Novel/dating sim, obviously has implied the readers that there are a lot of grammatical errors, loop holes (Some endings are very hard to achieve w/out the walkthrough, honestly)and unreasonable plots. Some of the endings are quite for mature audiences only ( a word of warning for minors out there).

Rating: 8.5/10

Graphics

The background images are well drawn and are like a 3-dimensional background. The sky background image is quite realistic and the good thing in the background images is that it changes according to the time of the day (day, afternoon and night). The character images were similar to anime characters and the variation of their facial expressions is highlighted. The CG events are quite simple but nicely done.

Rating: 9/10

Music/Sound Effects

Unfortunately, there is no music or sound effects used in this Visual Novel. This is one of the elements that a Visual Novel must have, to make the story somewhat alive and they failed to put on this element.

Rating: 0/10

System/Extras

The engine used in creating this Visual Novel/dating sim is the freeware software called the Ren’Py engine. The main menu composes of new, load, extras menu (which has a CG Gallery and Extra (the pictures are related to the story and the development of the graphics), and the preferences with  instructions of this VN/dating sim game below.

Rating: 4/5

What I can say is…

At first, I only got a few endings and was having a lot of trouble achieving the other endings. I personally got a headache in trying to get the ending of the director, for about 2 days, sigh:( but I thought that maybe, there was a walkthrough for this so I searched it on the web the other following day. I luckily have found one made by the creator himself, and by means of the walkthrough, I was able to achieve the other 3 endings that I didn’t get. I somehow liked the 3 of the 12 endings and find the other ones, dramatic. I also really liked the Extras Menu because it has tons of CG events (Because it has 12 endings) and the Extras which has nice illustrations of the characters and there is the stages on how the illustrations for this VN has been formed. There is the 2d and the 3d ones, most especially the attempt of the creator to make it into an anime (that would be good actually).

I am looking forward for the sequel of deIz (if the creator plans to do it)

Soul and Heart

Game Information

Writer: Lumen_Astrum

Productions: Harmonica Vitrea

Size: 94.2Mb

Release Date: November 2011

Rating: 13+

Download Link: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12802

Game Synopsis

The very first Visual Novel made by the writer that has the same nationality as me :) The story is about a country that is bound by cruel laws like higher authorities only can have emotions and the normal citizens are being prevented to have dreams while they are asleep. When dreams keep on occurring to a certain person, he/she is bound to follow the rules of undergoing a certain operation to cure this phenomenon that they treat as a disease. The story follows the life of Sirius, a girl who’s searching the file of her mother’s real name in the records section. She only got to bring a lamp and a gun. She struggles to accomplish her mission but this only leads her to something worse or better?

Story

The theme of the story is political and is rarely used as a theme in Visual Novels.  There were a few grammar lapses but it is not hard to understand. The story is a bit short  and is mainly about using the Soul and Heart, I guess :) Some elements of the story happened in real life and the story has a moral lesson that everyone must know in their life. I liked the story but I think there is something missing but I guess, that’s not a big deal. Some of the events seen predictable but it’s not really that bad.

Rating: 8/10

Graphics

The background images were mostly dark, since it is set in a prison cell. The character artworks is simple and most of the time it’s black and white. Only their eyes and their necklace have color. The CGs of dreams were the only full colored and simple.

Rating: 7/10

Music/Sound Effects

This VN used quite a lot of background music so there is a variation in using each tracks. The tracks are well chosen and is appropriate for the certain scenes in the story. The sound effects were matched and perfectly fit well with the events in the story.

Rating: 9/10

System/Extras

The engine used in making this Visual novel is Ren’Py, a freeware software available for download on www.renpy.org. In the main menu, there is the new game and load function, preferences, bonus (Which contains the Creator’s notes,  CG Gallery and  Music Room.

Rating: 5/5

What I can say is…

This Visual Novel shows the struggle of the main character, which is Sirius, in changing the soul and heart of the other characters. I really learned a lot of lessons from the story and there is one realization I have made by reading this VN. You too can know and if you are the same as me, maybe realize something that has been causing me to lose hopes in life and all the other stuff.

Game Information

Writer:  PyTom (Creator of Ren’Py engine)

Production: American Bishoujo

Size: 19.7Mb

Release Date: January 2009

Rating: All Ages

Download Link: http://www.bishoujo.us/moonlight/

Game Summary

The first Visual Novel created by the creator of Ren’Py engine himself, Robert aka PyTom. The story is set inNorthSandIsland, an island on theAtlantic Oceanand  is only reachable by riding a ferry. The protagonist, an 18 year old man who is between high school and college is having a vacation on his aunt and uncle’s house inNorthSandIsland. Every night, he goes to the beach to see the moon and he brings his camera to take shots of the moon  and beach. On a full moon day, he saw a woman wearing white dress and had a pale skin and a white hair as white as her dress.

Story

The story has 4 endings and you can get them easily by reverting the choices you made. Some elements of the story came from a real event happened thousand years ago in North Shore Island. The story has a different and it has an unpredictable plot. I like the story line and will be looking forward for this more kind of stories.

Rating: 9/10

Graphics

The background images were beautiful and give a relaxing feeling because most of the scenes is set on a beach at night. The illustrations for the beach and cliff scenes is quite realistic, even the moon. The character artwork for the girl was nicely done and there is a bounce of changes in her facial expressions based on what she’s saying/feeling. There is no character artwork of the protagonist since he’s only a point of view character. The CGs events were a lot of times focused on the girl character and how her emotional feeling changes. This VN was originally released on year 2005 and the creator did illustrate all of the graphics and you can play it in the Extras Menu once you finished all the endings.

Music/Sound Effects

The background music is mostly composed of the sound of the waves on the beach. This sound is very relaxing and will make you feel that you’re in the beach. There were few sound effects used like the uploading of images on the computer and the other one on the ending 4.

What I can say is…

Moonlight Walks, from the literal meaning of this title means that mostly this game involves moonlight walking :) The gameplay in achieving the 4 endings is quite easy for me and I have really liked the Ending 3 and especially the Ending 4 for some personal reasons ^_^ The Ending 4 deeply implies to the reader that message, that all things will come in good time. I highly recommend this Visual Novel to everyone, most especially to, (sorry for the word) hopeless romantics (like me, LOL=)
